Kustom Precision Machine Products offers manual and CNC turning services for virtually all metal alloys and plastics. OEMs often choose KPMP’s CNC turning as an economical way to cut materials into various shapes--- ranging from plain surfaces, taper ends, contour, and filter to radius profiles and threaded surfaces. When more complex shapes are required, CNC turning may be combined with our CNC milling and other ancillary services to expand even further your shaping possibilities.

 KPMP’s CNC turning machines deliver components at a fast production rate while holding tight dimensional tolerances and maintaining parts consistency/uniformity  Our high-speed machining capability and fluency with hard steel materials, such as Inconel, enable us to be very cost competitive while achieving good surface finishes Turned parts range in size from .250 in. to 15 in. diameter  and up to 52 in. lengths and include tools, fixtures, jigs & cams. A Wide Range of Materials. We have extensive experience in machining a wide variety of materials , including brass, chrome, aluminum, copper, nickel, Inconel, waspaloy, stainless steel, carbon steel, tool steel, austenitic & martensitic alloys, tantalum, titanium, tungsten and a variety of plastics, including acetal,  phenolic, polycarbonate, polypropylene, polyurethane, polyethylene, polysulfone, PVC, Teflon, acrylic & acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), along with many other exotic materials.

Boring. Geometries range from simple to extremely complex in a variety of diameters, including straight hole and tapered hole lathe boring services. For precision applications, tolerances can be held within +/-0.0005 in.

Surface finishes may range from 32 to 250 micro-inches, with a typical range between 32 and 125 micro-inches.

Project Development.  We will work from your blueprint or assist you in the development of specs for your product or component. Throughout the development and manufacturing process, our experienced technicians will continue to work closely with your engineering and manufacturing departments to provide technical assistance.

As with all KPMP machining services, our CNC turning services are subjected to a quality control system that ensures no product leaves our plant unless it conforms to our customers' expectations. To accomplish this, we comply strictly with military specifications MIL-I-45208 for both government and industrial jobs.
